the latest band i'm in

grew up listening to glam rock and metal with my older brother.

played trumpet in grades 6-9.

started creating music on the computer at age 12.

picked up my dad's guitar at age 15 and learned the power chord from a guitar world issue my brother purchased entitled '50 heaviest riffs of all time.'

joined first hard rock/metal band and played a party plugged into a gasoline powered generator out in a corn field at ages 17-18.  played several dives over the next 6+ years in the st. louis area and started laying guitar tracks over computer generated drums and rhythms during spare time in college.

played a 40 minute all surf instrumental set for street festival in my hometown with my father, uncle, and best friend.  we all got to trade leads.

now playing in the church praise band regularly as well as working with original christian singer/songwriters in the area.

joined another speed/thrash metal band in the fall of '09.  again, the same friend/drummer i've always played with in other bands is in it.

continue to write songs and somewhere along the way finally started to do vocals to my original tunes.

i can assemble and setup guitars.  i have built a cigar box guitar and working on 2 other ones.
