Ok so this is a cover-come-original (almost typical for the genre, I think, and certainly no way for this to be released outside of the terms of 'fair-use')

I was browsing the sounds of Kore Player earlier today when I came across the beats which form the backbone of this tune.

The kick-drum/hand-clap sound kicked in associative thoughts to Give Peace a Chance, and I built the rest of the lyrics up around it.

The lyrics came about because I felt that John Lennon had kind of pre-dated rap / hip-hop with this track.

A little more R'n'B and it would've been a good hip-hop track and a rare one of positivity.

This is the demo version - I'd like to have a wide variety of people send in recordings of themselves singing the "Give Peace A Chance" parts so I can get a little more of that that 'room in Toronto' sound. (If you're interested, pm me for an mp3 to track to)

The lyrics might change a little too but they're ok just to get the idea 'out there'.
